Puerto Montt
After more than 13 hours in the bus I arrived in Puerto Montt, a city about halfway between Santiago and the southern end of Chile.
It's a bit hard to read, but it says Holland America line on the ship.... the Netherlands are just everywhere... I even found some pindakaas! Ok, actually it was peanutbutter imported from the US, but since I ate it first in the Netherlands, it will always be pindakaas for me...
...and between the huge pacific steamers some cute fishing boats...
The brown bundle on the right side are algae, my roommate cooked them once. I would not die to get them but they taste better than they smell and look like.
You shoud not be squeamish if you want to visit the market. I would say that it's a mixture between impressive and disgusting.
This is the restaurant in which I head the best salmon of my life!
